QUÉ HACER

El edificio y la biblioteca existente en su interior fue legado efectuado por Doña Eloísa Torrent de Vidal, en el año 1958, con la condición de crear un museo que perpetúe el nombre del Dr. Juan Ramón Vidal, ex Gobernador de la Provincia y Senador de la Nación. Presenta dos etapas en su edificación; la planta baja de 1860 y la planta alta y fachada a fines del siglo XIX. En la arquitectura del edificio del museo, existe un predominio del estilo neoclásico.
Transformada en Museo a partir del año 1963 la institución alberga entre sus colecciones casi setecientas obras de arte compuestas por: pinturas, dibujos, grabados, expresiones de arte contemporáneo, etc.
Posee numerosas obras contemporáneas de autores de renombre local, nacional e internacional: Fernando Fader, Benito Quinquela Martín, Eduardo Sívori, entre otros.

Horarios: Lunes a Viernes de 9 a 12 y de 17 a 20 hs. 
Entrada libre y gratuita.
