La guerra de Malvinas fue un conflicto bélico entre la Argentina y el Reino Unido que se desarrolló del 2 de abril al 14 de junio de 1982. Donde un número significativo de soldados correntinos participaron en la defensa de la soberanía y el territorio argentino.

En el mural se observa a un grupo de militares pertenecientes a las 3 áreas de las Fuerzas Armadas Argentinas. El Ejército Argentino que es la fuerza terrestre y se encarga del conflicto armado en el ámbito terrestre. La Armada Argentina que es la responsable de la defensa marítima y fluvial del país e incluye también a la Infantería de Marina, buques de guerra, y aviación naval. Por último la Fuerza Aérea Argentina, encargada de la defensa del espacio aéreo nacional. Opera aviones de combate, helicópteros, radares y misiles.

En la obra también se observa la frase “Malvinas Volveremos” haciendo alusión a la esperanza popular de recuperar este territorio.
