WHAT TO DO

El Museo histórico “Tte. Gobernador Manuel Cabral de Melo y Alpoín” fue construido por el arquitecto Martín Noel en 1894, de estilo neocolonial.
Cuenta en su colección con objetos patrimoniales de considerable valor histórico, distribuidos cronológicamente en siete salas. Los visitantes pueden observar lápidas jesuíticas, tallas policromadas, arte sacro, mobiliario antiguo, instrumentos musicales, armas, cañones, vestimenta de la época colonial, banderas, fotos, cuadros, rejas, capiteles y variados testimonios de diferentes períodos.

Se organizan visitas guiadas, proyecciones de documentales, presentaciones de libros y charlas especializadas sobre historia.

Horarios: de martes a viernes de 8 a 12 y de 16 a 20 hs. Y sábados de 9 a 12 hs.
