WHAT TO DO

El monumento fue inaugurado en 1928. La escultura que honra a Carlos María de Alvear quién fuera Director Supremo de las Provincias Unidas del Río de la Plata en 1815, fue esculpida por la artista Dolores Candelaria Mora Vega de Hernández, mejor conocida como Lola Mora, en mármol de carrara y se encuentra sobre una base de piedra rosada. En el frente de la obra se observa el escudo nacional en bronce fundido y en la parte trasera el escudo de la provincia de Corrientes.
