En la obra se representa a través de las figuras y los símbolos a los guardavidas, quienes se encargan del cuidado y la protección de las playas de la ciudad.

A la izquierda, se aprecia a un hombre sentado sobre una estructura que simboliza una torre de vigilancia. Sobre el agua se aprecia a una persona navegando en una canoa pequeña, lo que refuerza la idea de un entorno costero, en referencia al río Paraná.

En la parte inferior central se encuentra un salvavidas, símbolo típico de la seguridad acuática. Por lo que esta obra resalta el cuidado, la observación y la conexión con la naturaleza, en especial con el agua y el sol, elementos esenciales del paisaje litoraleño, mientras que la figura de los salvavidas y los elementos de seguridad hacen referencia al valor del resguardo colectivo en los espacios públicos.
